Partner, Paul M. da Costa, Named to the 2026 NJBIZ Law Power 50 List for Third Consecutive Year

In its profile, NJBIZ also highlighted what Paul described as his proudest professional achievement: obtaining a $10 million settlement in a matter involving the death of a three-year-old child with physical and intellectual disabilities. The settlement is among the highest wrongful death settlements for disabled children in New Jersey and reflects Paul’s longstanding belief that the law should recognize the full value, dignity, and humanity of disabled individuals.

Paul currently serves as president of the North Jersey Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), is a senior fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, and is a member of the Board of Governors for the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ). He also serves as secretary of Seton Hall University School of Law’s Board of Visitors.

In addition to his recognition by NJBIZ, Paul has received numerous honors from leading legal publications and ranking organizations.
