“Attorney Paul M. da Costa of Snyder Sarno D’Aniello Maceri & da Costa of Roseland, who worked on behalf of several families whose loved one were sickened or died from adenovirus-related complications at the Wanaque Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, is representing Anabela and Kirk Rossi.

“We have to look ourselves in the mirror and ask are we treating these victims and families with the respect they deserve,” said da Costa.

Matthew’s voice, he said, needed to be heard and “needs to be heard clearly.””

On July 25, 2023, Paul M. da Costa met with his clients Kirk and Anabela Rossi who he is representing in a civil action lawsuit over the death of their 19 year old son, Matthew Rossi. Matthew was disabled non-verbal young man with congenital muscular dystrophy, confined to a wheelchair and required specialized one-to-one nursing care.  On February 10, 2023, Matthew died while being transported on a school bus while accompanied by a bus aide.
