Alec M. Mais Particpates in NJSBF’s Annual Vincent J. Apruzzese High School Mock Trial Competition

On January 30, 2025, Alec M. Mais, attorney in the Sarno da Costa D’Aniello Maceri Webb LLC Personal Injury practice group participated in the New Jersey State Bar Foundation’s annual Vincent J. Apruzzese High School Mock Trial Competition. Alec judged the competition at the Essex County Veteran’s courthouse.

The Vincent J. Apruzzese High School Mock Trial Competition was launch in 1982 and has become a shining example of how legal and education communities come together to provide interactive learning experiences for high school students outside of the classroom. Using an original case the NJSBF’s Mock Trial Committee prepares, student teams take on the roles of attorneys, witnesses and jurors. The program helps students develop skills in public speaking, critical thinking, and teamwork.
