Overview
Patrick DaSilva is an associate at Sarno da Costa D’Aniello Maceri Webb LLC, focusing his practice on family law matters. Prior to joining the firm, Patrick served as a judicial law clerk with the Honorable Marcella Matos Wilson, J.S.C. in the Essex Vicinage of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part. During his clerkship, Patrick worked on a wide range of pre-judgment and post-judgment matrimonial law matters: complex equitable distribution, custody disputes and parenting time, jurisdiction under the UCCJEA and UIFSA, and child and spousal support issues. Patrick also served as a judicial intern with the Hon. Marcella Matos Wilson, J.S.C. prior to his clerkship.
Patrick earned his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law; while in law school, he participated in the Seton Hall Law Center for Social Justice Immigration and Human Rights Clinic. There, he handled immigration cases that additionally overlapped with family law issues. Patrick also competed in the Eugene Gressman Moot Court Competition during his third year in law school.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Patrick often finds himself enjoying the outdoors, spending time down the shore in the summer months, and hiking during the fall months. With strong Portuguese roots, he also enjoys playing soccer and spends his Sunday afternoons cooking recipes passed down from his family.
