Welcome Thomas Paciorkowski as Of Counsel to the Firm!

Sarno da Costa D’Aniello Maceri LLC is pleased to welcome Thomas Paciorkowski, Esq., as Of Counsel. The Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury divisions are expanding to include Consumer Protection and Class Action litigation with the addition of Mr. Paciorkowski.

Mr. Paciorkowski devotes his practice to consumer protection litigation – primarily, consumer class action litigation. His extensive experience in the field of consumer protection litigation helps ensure his clients are met with the strong, strategic legal counsel required to protect the rights and safety of his clients and consumers in general.

Mr. Paciorkowski spent the last 11 years standing up to big businesses and protecting the rights of his clients. He originated a nationwide, consumer class action against automotive parts retailer Pep Boys for charging consumers more than advertised for in-store oil changes. The litigation resulted in a settlement of approximately $1 million where Pep Boys refunded overcharges to consumers and agreed to change its marketing practices.

Mr. Paciorkowski also originated a nationwide, consumer class action case against lighting manufacturer, Sylvania for misrepresenting the performance of its premium automotive headlamps. The litigation resulted in a settlement of $30 million and partial refunds were issued to consumers.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Paciorkowski owned and operated Accurate Investigations, a private investigation firm licensed with the New Jersey State Police. As a private investigator, Mr. Paciorkowski conducted thousands of investigations for corporate clients for more than 15 years.

Mr. Paciorkowski attended Western Michigan University, Cooley Law School where he graduated magna cum laude (in the top 3% of his class) and concentrated in administrative law.

Mr. Paciorkowski is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, the State of New York, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
