Arnaldo Pacheo was born and raised in Puerto Rico and fell in love with the sport of tennis at the age of 7. After being a top ranked junior tennis player in the Puerto Rico division of the U.S. Tennis Association, he became a Division 1 athlete at Lehigh University. His tennis career ended after college and he has spent many years feeling like all of his life’s dedication to the sport was all in vain.

Recently, Arnaldo connected with the Puerto Rican Association for Human Development (PRAHD), an organization whose mission is to provide social services that positively impact the lives of Latinos in the Central Jersey area. After attending a golf fundraiser, he learned from the CEO that the organization had a defunct kids tennis program that they have been looking to revive. Arnaldo said, “it felt like the perfect opportunity to give back and pass along the knowledge that I have gained about the sport for so many years.” He is now volunteering at PRAHD as their tennis camp instructor for kids ages 7-13.

Arnaldo says, “this opportunity feels like a full circle moment in my life. I feel so grateful for the opportunity to introduce this community to this incredible sport and to be able to connect with kids from my same background. I gave my first lesson yesterday and was overwhelmed with excitement to see the smile on the kids’ faces. My hope is that by the end of the summer, I will inspire them to fall in love with tennis like I did at their age, and to serve as a positive mentor and role model in their lives.”

We are proud to have Arnaldo as part of the firm and our medical malpractice and personal injury team!
